Rides, games, food, animal ... uh ... odors! They're all part of the 34th annual Hawaii State Farm Fair, in its final weekend at the Kapolei fairgrounds.

Befitting an event presented by the Hawaii Farm Bureau, there's a 4-H livestock show, a country market of fresh produce, an orchid and plant sale, agricultural displays and the super-popular petting zoo of critters beyond Fido and Fluffy.

On the entertainment roster: Hedrick's truly cute racing pigs (2, 4, 7, 9 and 10:30 p.m. today and tomorrow); Backyard Circus and Puppet Parade (3, 5 and 8 p.m. today and tomorrow); Dita Holifield and Red-Handed (6 p.m. today); The Fab 3, from "Hawaii Stars" (6 p.m. tomorrow).

Scheduled hours are from noon to midnight today and tomorrow. Admission is $3 general from noon to 6 p.m., $5 afterward; free for all who are under 40 inches tall. Parking is $3. 682-5767, www.ekfernandez.com.

The Zipper and swings are back this year in the array of rides.

Hedrick's Racing Pigs compete for the grand prize of an Oreo cookie during a race at the Hawaii State Farm Fair.

Three-year-old Sterling Fukunaga jumps through the "ring of fire" during a performance of the Backyard Circus with the Family Puppet Show.

George Yamashita, a volunteer with the Hawaii Farm Bureau Federation, shows off a Maui Gold pineapple on sale at the country market for $1.50.
Kids get cozy with the residents at the petting zoo. Among the critters this year: dwarf goats, rabbits, llamas and a miniature zebu from India.

Correction: A photo caption in an previous version of this story gave an incorrect age for Sterling Fukunaga. He is 3 years old.
