Fun on the farm

Rides, games, food, animal ... uh ... odors! They're all part of the 34th annual Hawaii State Farm Fair, in its final weekend at the Kapolei fairgrounds.
Befitting an event presented by the Hawaii Farm Bureau, there's a 4-H livestock show, a country market of fresh produce, an orchid and plant sale, agricultural displays and the super-popular petting zoo of critters beyond Fido and Fluffy.
On the entertainment roster: Hedrick's truly cute racing pigs (2, 4, 7, 9 and 10:30 p.m. today and tomorrow); Backyard Circus and Puppet Parade (3, 5 and 8 p.m. today and tomorrow); Dita Holifield and Red-Handed (6 p.m. today); The Fab 3, from "Hawaii Stars" (6 p.m. tomorrow).
Scheduled hours are from noon to midnight today and tomorrow. Admission is $3 general from noon to 6 p.m., $5 afterward; free for all who are under 40 inches tall. Parking is $3. 682-5767, www.ekfernandez.com.
