Support your local 'awa/kava bar! Hale Noa, the music-and-'awa establishment on Kapahulu Avenue, is in danger of closing, but its supporters are sponsoring a fundraiser to keep it going.

The benefit is from 5 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Bishop Museum. Besides entertainment by Imua Garza and Hapa (also featuring Ernie Cruz Jr.), there's food, 'awa, a silent auction and raffle prizes.

Tickets are $12 general (lawn), $40 reserved seating and $100 reserved front-of-the-house seating (also includes 'awa, dinner plate and autographed Hapa CD), free lawn admission for kids 3 and younger. No credit cards will be accepted at the event. Tickets will be sold at the door or at Hale Noa, 766 Kapahulu Ave.
