KAI AT SPEED CAMP

Natasha Kai, who became the first female from the state to be named to the roster of the U.S. Women's National soccer team, will be the featured instructor at this weekend's Hawai'i Speed and Quickness clinics at the University of Hawai'i athletic complex.

Kai has said she uses many of the clinics' techniques — first-step quickness and proper running form — in her soccer training.

Sessions are $10 each, and will be conducted tomorrow and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. (for ages 7-12) and 10:30 a.m. to noon (for 13 and older).
