BONNIE RAITT ON TWO ISLANDS
Tickets go on sale tomorrow for two concerts by nine-time Grammy Award winner Bonnie Raitt. The singer/songwriter/guitarist is touring in support of her CD, "Souls Alike," her 18th.

'HEARTBEAT' OF CHINA
"Heartbeat," a lavish Chinese martial arts/musical featuring a cast of nearly 60, makes its United States debut this month at the Blaisdell Concert Hall. The production promises to be a high-energy feast for the eyes and ears — with more than 400 period costumes and a multitude of sets — as it tells of the dynasties of China over two millennia.
Show times are 7:30 p.m. Dec. 20-21; 8 p.m. Dec. 22; 2 and 8 p.m. Dec. 23; 2 p.m. Dec. 24; 2 and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 27; 7:30 p.m. Dec. 28; 8 p.m. Dec. 29; 2 and 8 p.m. Dec. 30; and 2 p.m. Dec. 31.
Tickets are $19-$49, with $5 discounts for children and groups, available at the Blaisdell box office.
