TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE
"The New Adventures of Old Christine" 8:30 p.m., CBS. With the new season near, networks want us to get into nightly routines. So after a rest, "Christine" returns to its regular slot. This rerun picks up right after a clumsy episode in which Christine dumped her ideal guy. We won't gripe, though, because there's fun ahead. With Christine in flux, Stan (Andy Richter) wants to catch her on the rebound.
"Fight Girls," 6 p.m., Oxygen Channel. Billed as a "reality movie," this saves us the trouble of plodding from week to week, reality-show style. It starts with wannabes then progresses dramatically. Master Toddy is a guru of the kickboxing style called Muay Thai. Here, he trains seven American women then chooses three to fight in Thailand, which rules the sport. The result goes overboard in hype and in tears, but it works. By the end we really like and care about these people.
OF NOTE
"Psych," 7 p.m., NBC. For two Mondays, NBC will air episodes of this fairly entertaining series from the USA Network. James Roday stars as a guy who can solve crimes via great observation skills. Since no one respects that, he claims he's a psychic. Tonight, he probes a spelling-bee mystery.
"Hell's Kitchen," 7 and 8 p.m., Fox. First is a rerun with four chefs remaining. Then the new hour has the final three getting a chance to be in control; two will advance to next week's finale.
"Two and a Half Men," 7 and 8, CBS. The first rerun is a bizarre one with Cloris Leachman as the grouchy neighbor who wants to bed Charlie. The second has Alan's much-too-young girlfriend moving in. Charlie who does, after all, own the house is not pleased.
