Mixed bag of indies at Doris Duke Theatre

The Doris Duke Theatre at the Honolulu Academy of Arts has been a fount of independent films that never make it to Honolulu multiplexes. The theater's schedule through May includes martial-arts classics, documentaries, award-winning dramas and the gay-themed Rainbow Film Festival.
