Iolani cruises past Maryknoll, 53-31

Jamie Smith poured in a game-high 19 points to lead the host Iolani Raiders to a 53-31 victory over the Maryknoll Spartans last night in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division I game.

Hennasea-Sue Tokumura added 12 points and Keilyn Fujioka 10 for Iolani, which improved to 2-0.

Iolani, which is a half-game behind Punahou (3-0), raced to a 20-6 first-quarter lead and extended its advantage to 33-15 at intermission.

Kristen Canencia and Nicole Fu each scored nine points to lead the Spartans.
