Amanda Ung is Yeh-Hsien, and Grant Uchida is Yeh-Hsien's father, who is also the spirit of the magic fish, in "Golden Slipper: A Chinese Cinderella Tale," written by Peggy Anne Siegmund for the Kaimuki High School advanced acting class.

The curtain rises at the Kaimuki High theater at 3 p.m. today and tomorrow.
