Police are seeking information to help in the investigation into the beating of a 63-year-old man found near the corner of Waiakamilo Road and Colburn Street last week, police said.

The victim, Edwin Penn, was last seen getting into a taxi at 2 a.m. last Thursday at 1210 Dillingham Blvd.

The taxi was described by witnesses as a four-door white sedan.

At about 2:20 a.m., Penn was found unconscious on the sidewalk on Waiakamilo Road with injuries that indicated he had been beaten, police said.
