SUN BEE has been named director of sales and marketing for the new Embassy Suites Hotel Waikiki Beach Walk, part of Outrigger Enterprise's $460 million Waikiki Beach Walk redevelopment. Most recently, she was regional market director-Hawai'i, Asia and Pacific, for Orbitz.com online travel company. Also, director of facility operations DENNIS MAHER will oversee operations and maintenance for all resort complex facilities, including physical structure, all mechanical, electrical and heating/air conditioning.

  • In another Outrigger appointment, ALAN WHITE, a 20-year veteran of senior management in the lodging and travel software and services industry, has been promoted to senior vice president and chief information officer for Outrigger Enterprises Inc.

  • LESLIE HYLKEMA has been promoted to director of sales, overseeing West Coast group business for Prince Resorts Hawai'i's four resorts: Hawai'i Prince Hotel Waikiki and Golf Club; Maui Prince Hotel, Makena Resort; Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel, and Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. DENISE ANDERSON has been named new director of sales for luxury, leisure and corporate travel for the four resorts. TOSHIE NAKABAYASHI has been named director of sales for domestic and Asia Pacific wholesale travel. SUSAN UYETAKE has been named director of corporate travel for Prince Resorts Hawai'i. GLENN BERK was named southwest regional director of group sales.

  • STEPHANIE IONA has been named general manager of ResortQuest Waimea Plantation Cottages, a historic restored sugar plantation on Kaua'i. Also, CLINTON OWEN returns to Resort-Quest's Islander on the Beach, the newly-renovated 198-room hotel at Kapa'a, Kaua'i, as general manager.

  • ANDREA HENNINGS, a nine-year veteran of hospitality sales and media broadcast, has been named sales manager of the Hilton Waikoloa Village resort on the Big Island, overseeing Hawai'i, the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, Europe and Canada.
