SERVICE DEC. 6 FOR HENRY GIUGNI

Public Honolulu memorial services have been set for Henry Kuualoha Giugni, former aide to U.S. Sen. Daniel K. Inouye and U.S. Senate sergeant-at-arms, who died Nov. 3. Visitation begins Dec. 6 at 4:30 p.m. at Hanahauoli School, 1922 Makiki St., at Nehoa. The 6 p.m. service will be followed by refreshments. Giugni, 80, attended Hanahauoli before enrolling in Iolani School. Parking is available at the Makiki Street city park fronting the school, and on the Punahou School lower campus (enter from Punahou School's main gate, Wilder and Punahou streets; frequent shuttle service to Hanahauoli will be provided).

RONALD "TINO" PARVA CABILES SR., 78, of Waipahu, died Nov. 18, 2005. Born in Hana, Maui. Survived by wife, Grace; sons, Ronald Jr., Ricky and Russell; daughters, Robin Joy Kamitono, Ruby Jay Gouveia and Roxanne; brothers, Bernard, Adolfo, Leopoldo, Angelo and Bonifacio; sisters, Wilfrieda Rodrigues, Juanita Chesebro, Catalina Balangitao, Jesusa Kuchikan, Loretta Apostadiro, Maria Love and Conchita Aquino; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. BEATRICE WONG CHINN, 95, of Kailua, formerly of Laguna Hills, Calif., and Pohai Nani Retirement Community in Kane'ohe, died Nov. 28, 2005. Born in Honolulu. Assistant recorder for the Labor Board at Pearl Harbor; retired chief of registration and certification for Hawai'i and the Pacific for the Federal Civil Service. Survived by daughter, Maile Wilkerson; son, Philip; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Daisy Au, Eunice King and Constance Chung. DIONICIO P. CORPUZ, 59, of Kahului, Maui, died Nov. 13, 2005. Born in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa. Mortenson was founder of Eileen Mortenson Communications and Eileen Mortenson Associates Public Relations; and a University of Hawai'i public relations teacher.
